Where do your cruises depart from?
Our San Francisco Bay cruises depart from Pier 43 1/2, located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf at the end of Taylor Street. You can find us on most GPS devices by entering “Red and White Fleet” as the destination. For directions, click here.
When should I be at the departure location?
For the Golden Gate Bay Cruise® and the San Francisco Bridge to Bridge Cruise, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, as we otherwise can’t guarantee available space and are unable to hold the vessel. If you miss your departure, guests scheduled for the one-hour Golden Gate Bay Cruise® or the 90-minute San Francisco Bridge to Bridge Cruise are welcome to simply hop on the next departure that same day.
For the San Francisco City Lights/California Sunset Cruise, we suggest arriving to the neighborhood 1-hour prior to the cruise departure time. This allows you to find parking and make your way to the pier for departure.
For special event cruises and on busy summer weekends, we also recommend arriving at least 1-hour early, as traffic leading to Fisherman’s Wharf can cause delays.
How do I get there by public transit?
There are two San Francisco Cable Car stops within four blocks of Red and White Fleet’s Pier 43 1/2; the Powell/Mason Cable Car terminus is located at Bay & Taylor Street (6-minute walk) and the Powell/Hyde terminus is located at Hyde & Beach Street (9-minute walk).
