DIRECTIONS TO PIER 43½

Fleet Week Note: Due to increased traffic and street closures during Fleet Week (Oct 7-9), parking in the triangle parking lot across from Pier 43 1/2 and therefore parking validation may not be possible.

Red and White Fleet customers enjoy up to 1 hour of validated, free parking at the Fisherman's Wharf triangle lot, right across from Red and White Fleet. To qualify, simply have your parking ticket validated by Red and White Fleet's ticketing team on Pier 43 1/2, at the time of making your purchase or when picking up your paid tour tickets. Parking validation is available between 10am and before the final public cruise of the day departs. No parking validation offered during Fleet Week weekend and July 4th due to traffic and street closures along Fisherman’s Wharf.

Pier 43½ is located in the heart of Historic Fisherman’s Wharf, at the foot of Taylor Street.

Pier 43½ is the departure point for the Golden Gate
Bay Cruise and the California Sunset Cruise.

BY CAR

From the East Bay

  • Take I-80 West across the Bay Bridge toward San Francisco.
  • Take the Fremont Street exit.
  • Turn LEFT onto Fremont Street.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Howard Street.
  • Turn LEFT onto Embarcadero.
  • Follow the Embarcadero for 1.5 miles.
  • Embarcadero becomes Jefferson Street.
  • Turn RIGHT on Taylor Street.

From the South Bay

  • Take US-101 North or I-280 North toward San Francisco.
  • Merge/ stay on I-280 North toward Port of San Francisco.
  • Stay to the left and follow the King Street Exit.
  • King Street becomes Embarcadero.
  • Follow the Embarcadero for 2 miles.
  • Embarcadero becomes Jefferson Street.
  • Turn RIGHT on Taylor Street.

From the North Bay

  • Take US-101 South across Golden Gate Bridge.
  • Stay to the right immediately after the bridge.
  • US-101 South will become Lombard Street
  • Turn LEFT onto Van Ness Avenue
  • Turn RIGHT onto North Point Street
  • Turn LEFT onto Taylor Street

Take BART to the Embarcadero Station. Go upstairs and cross the street to the Ferry Building. In front of the Ferry Building, take the MUNI F Line Street Car to Fisherman’s Wharf Pier 43 ½.

ARRIVAL BY AMTRAK

Passengers destined for San Francisco connect to a Thruway Motorcoach at Emeryville. Amtrak Thruway service connects all trains to various stops in San Francisco. Amtrak Thruway Service stops at Pier 39, for those bound for Fisherman’s Wharf and the Pier 39 area. Red and White Fleet’s Pier 43 ½ is located 5 walking minutes west of Pier 39.
