AQUARIUM OF THE BAY AT PIER 39 Your visit to the Aquarium will bring you face-to-face with the Bay's amazing marine animals – from regal Sevengill Sharks and the Giant Pacific Octopus , to graceful jellies and colorful sea stars. Our new PG&E Bay Lab features land animals as ambassadors for protecting their habitats. Each day is filled with a wide range of special events – from shark feedings to hands-on animal encounters to conversations with our divers while they are under water. And it's all free with your Aquarium admission. Open Hours: Aquarium of the Bay is open every day of the year except for December 25. General Hours of Operation: Summer – Every day: 9 am to 8 pm; Winter: Monday-Thursday: 10 am to 6 pm; Friday-Sun: 10 am to 7 pm.
