4 Aquarium of the BayExplore the mystery and spectacle of San Francisco Bay’s marine wild life and eco system at the Aquarium of the Bay. Just 5-10 walking minutes away from Red and White Fleet’s® Pier 43 ½ boarding location, your visit will lead you through 3 core exhibitions that showcase the amazing riches that lie beneath the surface of the San Francisco Bay, including the new Otters Up Close display.

Start off your journey with the “Discover the Bay Exhibit” which highlights the ecosystems that support life in San Francisco Bay.

Next, explore the bay from underneath the water’s surface as you travel through 300 feet of crystal clear tunnels featuring over 20,000 marine animals.

Children will be delighted to experience the touch pools, filled with starfish, sting rays and even sharks, giving them an opportunity to learn about the importance of San Francisco Bay’s tidal estuaries.

Each day is filled with a wide range of special events – from shark feedings to hands-on animal encounters to conversations with our divers while they are under water. And it’s all free with your Aquarium admission.
